re: Any of you baws had sinus surgery?

Recovery was not fun, took about 2 weeks, but it was worth it. Right after the surgery it felt like I had been kicked in the head by a horse. Was hard to breathe for a few days until the packing came out. After that there was some bleeding for another week or so.

I can breathe and sleep so much better now though, and all my sinus infections are gone. I would definitely have it over again if needed. The only downside is loss of most of my sense of smell, maybe a third of what it used to be, if that. But I am not young so maybe that is part of it. Food tastes the same.
