re: Anyone have experience converting a pool into a heated pool?

I had a heated pool as a kid that ran on solar. It worked pretty damn good, and solar technology wasn't very good back then. It was in Florida, so I don't know how well it would work where you live, and how cold it gets.

Just make sure you're not a dumbass like my sister. She hit the wrong buttons, and heated the pool using The natural gas from the hot tub. My dad jumped on the pool later work during the summer, and damn near had a heart attack.
