Do they wear fricking jerseys with LSU on them? Helmets? Does another team fricking line up against us? They keep score? Then it goddamn counts.

sometimes it matters. that's why underdogs can win a bowl game when they shouldn't. the big dog can't get up for the game and it's a huge game for the underdog.

sports radio last nite and a sideline observer of lsu's practice said there wasn't much juice. he did note that the game is still a long way away. this game is important for coach 0 as he has made clear.

it is an important game in the win loss column for perception, recruiting and starting on the next season.

I do agree that it's not always the case.

I agree with this. I think the “It’s an exhibition game” argument is lame. It goes in the W/L column and in your season record, how on earth does it not count??

Having said that, it doesn’t bother me. I believe they should play but if they don’t, it’s their call. The people most affected by their decision (their teammates, coaches, the NFL) don’t care, so why should I?

I’m still going to watch and I’m still going to pull for LSU regardless of who makes the trip.
