He was slow and didn’t have vision. He packed on weight in school.
Dalton and Garry James were the best dynamic duo of that decade. Harvey and Sammy Martin were damn good together as well.
Dalton had better vision and was hard as hell to bring down, just as Ronnie Lott about him. Garry James had elite speed and would out run people to the corner.
They were our “Pony express” or Dalton and James Gang.
