anyone that mentions CC meet me at Sonic. most overhyped 4 games in history.yay he ran good against 3 scrubs and auburn

Watching his legend grow on the rant has been amazing. 4 games. that's it. he never replicated that production ever again. it's like jerry seinfeld and "the big race".

Guice highlight runs vs. Collins highlight runs are NO contest in favor of Guice. Same with Fournette.

If collins wasn't a pervert and in his 100% prime he still would not make top 5.

And the "broken leg" excuse it's not like he ripped up ligaments in his knee. he broke a lower leg bone. people come back from that all the time with no drop off in production; he could barely get it done at McNeese and averaged like 3 YPC in the NFL. Over. Rated.

Say what you want, but no LSU RB has ever started their career like he did (no RB's LSU career probably ended quicker either). Actually, I can't really even think of any RB from any team that started off quite as good as he did. It wasn't just that it was a great 4-game stretch, it was his first 4 games ever playing at LSU.

Dude was in the Heisman conversation as a redshirt freshman after 4 games on a team with an all-time SEC great and another NFL RB. Even getting hurt in his 4th game, he finished ranked 1st the nation in ypc for RBs with 50+ carries at 8.3 ypc. And that was with two top 25 SEC defenses that he faced in the first two games. He became an injured headcase, but he was extremely legit in his short LSU career.
