Statewide, some of the big ones are West Monroe, Parkway, Parkview Baptist, Catholic BR, U-High, Southern Lab, Scotlandville Magnet, East St. John, Hahnville, Destrahan, St. Thomas Moore, E.D. White, etc.

Around the state you have some traditional powers and some newly emerging powers. Evangel, West Monroe and Neville primarily run shite up north in the higher classifications (Byrd, Airline, Parkway, Ruston & Ouachita are also good). Haynesville is a legendary program in the smaller classifications.
I can't really think of a dominant program in central LA. In Lake Charles, you've got Sulphur and Barbe as the big dogs. Lafayette area has some great programs including Acadiana, Notre Dame and St. Thomas More. Carencro used to be a perennial power but haven't made much noise as of late.
Baton Rouge has private/select powers University Lab (@ LSU), Parkview Baptist and Catholic. Southern Lab was a big player in lower classes until scandal rocked the program late this summer. Public schools in the area haven't made much noise until recently with Zachary (north of BR) winning 2 of the last 3 5A titles. The 3 5A Ascension Parish schools hate each other and have a good round-robin of rivalry games annually...they just do nothing in the playoffs.
In the River Parishes, Destrehan and Hahnville are your 5A powers. East St. John has been formidable in the past but haven't been great as of late. Lower classification programs at Lutcher, St. James (public), St. Charles Catholic (private) and West St. John are almost always in the title hunt. There really are no good programs in the bayou area.
