That sucks. That section, especially eastbound, has got to be one of the worst interstate designs in the country. How on earth should an interstate that spans California to Florida go to one lane by design at the base of a giant bridge?

That section hasn't been updated since it was built in 1962.

It's comical how this has been a problem for 40 years and NOTHING is ever done about it. It's like the state hates everyone that lives in the Baton Rouge area.

Drive though San Antonio - it is a cluster if you try to stay on I-10 - either direction. 1 lane, and if you blink, you will miss it.

Insane.
