No legal scholar here = but /\ this is the definition of the 'crime' of obstructing justice.

Now it appears that when people spout 'obstructing justice' they are referring to political insinuations.

A president can be impeached for 'obstructing justice' in a political sense, but I don't see how any kind of criminal charges can be applied based on the facts as we know them now.

Of course there might be a pretty good criminal basis for obstructing justice against HRC for destroying information under subpoena by the Congress.
