Can you kind of summarize what I'm supposed to say? I've called before and had $5-$10 taken off before but not $50.

What's the direct line to the customer loyalty department? Do I threaten to cancel?

Just tell them you heard about a discount promotion going on and want to see if there is a way to save money off of your monthly bill. They may ask you if you want to upgrade to another package, downgrade, etc. That's up to you but not required for the discount. I did not threaten to cancel at all.

I politely declined switching up my package and was immediately offered $50/month off. They do say each account is treated differently so your results may not be the same (you may get more off or less off).
