Best case scenario: Daughter goes, has a fun time, comes back and says "Thank you for letting me go, Dad."
Worst case scenario: Daughter goes and a nuclear bomb gets set off during the Star Wars trailer.
Most likely scenario: Something in between.

Most kids are not asking their parents to go on dates at 13.
She's barely even an adolescent.
If he says yes, he may just open the door for a lot more behaviors and this "dating" will become more regular as she ages.
By the time she graduates high school she may have had like 20 boyfriends. Seen it happen already.
The kids dating in junior high were not angels...
