I disagree. Okie State will ALWAYS be in the Boomer shadow. I can see Gundy wanting to be the big dog in state with the enormous resources of Tennessee behind him. His challenge is overcoming the lack of 4/5* recruits in TN, and will have to go out of state like Fulmer did successfully.

Good points, except for one. The state of Tennessee is producing bumper crops of 4/5* recruits nowadays, and they can also pull from nearby talent pools. Gundy can get all the talent he'll need at UT.

UT has a good roster and 2018 recruiting class. Despite the bad 2017 season, it's not a major rebuild project.

Reportedly, Gundy was recruiting yesterday, and will meet with Currie today.

I wonder if FSU might also be interested in Gundy or just roll with Taggart. Taggart is a great fit and would crawl to FSU.
