Yet another thread bookedmarked to share when the so called conservatives whine about the outcome of this.
The fact that the same folks who constantly whine about media bias think turning net traffic over to giant media companies is a good idea boggles the mind.
If you have AT&T you will be giving CNN the power to decide what and when you can watch, read, or discuss whatever they like.
I have in general learned one thing, whatever a bill is called in congress means it does the exact opposite, no matter which party is calling the tune.

You should pay closer attention then. Because the media IS biased and and yet, which side occasionally bitches in favor of the fairness doctrine? Yup. Liberals.
Theoretically, the fairness doctrine should HELP conservatives yet, we are consistent in our recognition of how bad an idea it is.
So. You really shouldn't be surprised at all now using your frame of reference

YES!! !! This has never had anything to do with pockets or 1s and 0s. It has always had everything to do with government getting their hands on the internet.

No, it's always been in thr hands of private industry. People want to turn it over to the hands of government, which has consistently proven to be untrustworthy.
