re: Why do people tie up huge chunks of income in expensive vehicles?

I learned this lesson when we had a 100k car sitting in the driveway unused next to a new 4runner not being used. We both were driving our weekend cars 90% of the time.

Took a loss. Sold both. Sold our oversized house. And haven't bought a vehicle over 7k since.

I make about half of what I used to, and still have more money to frick off with
