What's unfortunate is in todays society media companies are completely focused on just getting you to look at their product. The actual content pails in comparison to the almighty click or just getting you in the door so to say. Media outlets are held to a much lower standard on quality of content and they know it and get away with it. Basically it's a lot easier and better for them to be inflammatory rather than thorough, thoughtful and correct.
