Hey now! Ed is ONE OF US...... as long as he gives it his all and keeps the zany sound bites coming, 2-3 losses is A-ok every year. His predecessor never had to deal with tough schedules or replacing pro or graduated players, so cut Uncle Ed some slack

Class isn't close to being finished

I'm sure we get a few top db's and a WR but dont see alot of the top OL,DL,RB including us in their top 3.
MAybe the kid joiner from Alabama but thats about it for 2018. I'm hoping O can get some elite talent but have yet to see anything that is changing my mind on this being an average class by LSU standards.

When more depth is built accross the board (mainly trenches) and we can legit say... next man up and be excited to see what the next guy is about to do not biting our fingernails... (when we have 2-3 all sec type lineman on the oline, and you get rave reviews on a freshman thats when you no your in a good spot its been a long time) id say next year is a good enough year to bring in more good recruits and 2019 is the year we should expect some stability and have more expectations. Right now I'm praying we get a key offensive lineman to stay and another Charles or Ingram this upcoming class to be a backup for when someone goes down... but no next year is not the year. These "YEARS" have been known to show up a year early.

Lots of opportunities to impress recruits

Feel like we’ve played at Florida for like 4 years in a row now. Thanks Alleva
yea, except that we played them in Tiger Stadium in 2015 and 2016.

Miami game is good for Lsu and coaxh O. Should make the spring and fall camps pretty intense. That way we don’t see a sluggish start to the season

So I guess we can start the "next year (2019) is our year" mantra already?
If you are a bitch and sell-out LSU fan you can. If you can't get excited over the 2018 LSU schedule you aren't a fan.
A lot of interest will be generated by those games. Well not you apparently, but who cares, everyone else will be very interested in the games LSU plays.

Never gets old seeing people be miserable for no reason what-so-ever. Narcisse will run all over those teams. But you can look forward to the next year to be miserable.

Do we return to high expectations that year? Or will LSU be losing too much on the defensive side at that point ?
2020? 2021?
When will the perfect roster be in play to have the corresponding championship expectations?
Damn man, your Catastrophe Syndrome knows no bounds and goes WAY out there. I'm about to start crying about 2030 through 2039. You with me? We can be miserable together.

You sound like you know what will happen in the future. LSU will have a very good defensive line and a much better O-line. Are you quitting on the team already?
Posted on 11/13/17 at 4:28 pm to Covingtontiger77
Seems like we play Auburn and Ole Miss much, much earlier in the year than normal, and we get MooState before the bye week before Bama?!
What a strange schedule!! I like it!

Oh, it will be. Have you not noticed the 4 and 5-stars that have LSU as their favorite.
Here is a four star D-lineman that Canada will want on offense as a wide receiver.
A 19 second video that shows the commit returning a recovered fumble that he caused for a TD. The future looks horrible for LSU.

Don't tell them that. They are already miserable over it. Let them be.

No. Are you too stupid to recognize I'm mocking you and your ilk who are already making excuses for when we perennially lose at least 2-3 games? If O and his recruiting and "CEO" managerial style are worth a shite there is no excuse to not compete for SEC championships every year starting in 2018. Tough schedule, losing key players, etc. weren't valid excuses for his predecessor and they shouldn't be for him.

Could. Not. Agree. More. Its a fantastic coaching opportunity to have an intense off-season and come out swinging (or get punched in the mouth).
Miami is a team on a mission, and will be a very tough test right out the gate.

Kind of reminds me of 2011. Had some good SEC teams as always, plus we had Oregon and West Virginia
Yep, beat three BCS bowl winners in one season. One of the all time great seasons of any team.
