Fan expectation of an LSU QB is generally disproportionate to the players skill level. We want Heisman numbers from our starter and when he invariably fails, we are absolutely convinced the backup is capable of putting up those numbers.

Because we said for years that all we needed was a game manager.

We won 2 MNC's with game managers.


Then ... this stat-line just is not good enough:

FALSE, give us a qb like matt Flynn and LSU is much better. I don't think it's over expecting for a team like lsu to get a decent qb. They have all the talent they need to win big, but for the past decade has missed on qb prospects.....that's an issue
