I don't think anyone is arguing that the US is safer than Sweden. People are just annoyed and sad that one of the safest and most prosperous nations in the world has had its crime (particularly rape) increase exponentially due to immigration policies that have no rational benefit.

If that’s the message through all the weird ways of saying it by so many, then I agree. Sweden has always been one of my favorite places, sometimes I defend her more than she deserves. It’s a shame though, and I fully support any increased immigration restrictions.
