I'm not one of the Ingram haters, but it makes sense if you break it down. Deuce got here in 2001. Yeah, we had just won the division and our first playoff game, but he came in after mostly a period of awful football. So, even average play was warmly welcomed. Ingram came in 2011, two years after the Super Bowl. So, we were spoiled as fans. Anything that didn't get us another Super Bowl didn't have as much shine as before.

Although, it is interesting that they both came from 2 of the most hated schools by LSU fans, but many Saints/LSU fans hold Alabama against Ingram way more than Ole Miss against Deuce.
