They mean very very little and for some reason, our fans can’t comprehend that.
There are some 5* who are graded that way because of potential, and some 5* who are ready to compete at the college level immediately. See the numerous LSU 5* that have done bumpkiss and been passed by 3* and 4*.

You have John Battle and Monroe ahead of him at the safety spot. I'm sure if he was a monster in practice and training camp then he would find the field. Just think if Ed Paris is granted a medical redshirt,,,he will never see the field.
