That's crazy pricing. That's after hurricane price when roofers don't give a frick if you hire them or not

Interesting, around here, most roofers seem to think you're nuts if you pay for a roof yourself. They are much more inclined to try and talk you into waiting on the next storm and using your homeowner's insurance.

That was my initial thought when the quote was given

That would be ideal but as the other florida poster stated its high but consider whether 20 k is high if most is being paid by insurance. I'm gonna see how long i can go before using my insurance . maybe in a month or two the prices may have gone down.
