He's more of a hybrid LB/S than a true safety which is a position becoming more common in the NFL. Jabril Peppers from this past draft is the prototype for that role. Mark Barron and Cam Chancellor also play similar roles to that.

It allows us to set up in nickel for our base set and the majority of snaps. If that is the game plan going forward in future years I don't know if finding another hybrid type player is that easy.
