We need to go after the NFL's tax-exempt status. I mean, WTH?! Multi-millionaire, for-profit (BIG PROFIT) organizations... no spiritual, charity, or community outreach as a core of what they do... how in the world did these people ever get tax exempt status?!

I'm waiting for the next billionaire owner to request tax dollars to build his half empty stadium "for the home folks" to enjoy

I believe the NFL gave that up a few years ago to keep their books secret

The thing to go after is the partial antitrust exemption (pushed through congress by Russell Long and Hale Boggs in exchange for The Saints -- but that's another story) that makes possible the NFL's TV deal.

Even just suggesting that might be repealed would move the owners to get their thugs back in line PDQ
