Wow.
Well, now I understand what "anchored" means.
Silly me I had it confused with "stickied".

Orgeron has attributed his failure at Ole Miss to his inability to delegate at the time. He got hired there mostly due to his recruiting prowess, he is a d-line coach with very little coordinator experience.
The selling point for him to be coach at LSU was with him getting a reduced salary from what LSU would pay Jimbo Fisher, LSU could hire top coordinators. LSU now has two of the highest paid coordinators in college football. Orgeron supposedly was going to let them do their thing.
I didn't like the idea of having a head coach whose strength was basically as a recruiter and motivator. But having two great coordinators did soften the blow.
Then after Troy game we learn that Orgeron, who has no offensive background, is meddling with the offense and overriding Canada.
It sounds to me like the meeting was Alleva trying to manage the dysfunctional coaching triumvirate he created.
It is kind of sad that our AD has to tell our head coach to leave the coaching to others, but it seems like that is where we are.
