That's actually one of the more realistic lines on the page. Childcare has shot up just like college tuition. It's absurd.

Now, what's ridiculous here (and may have already been pointed out) is they only have one kid they are paying childcare for, but that kid also has some kind of lessons? How old is this kid? That 24k is probably private school, which means that is instantly their biggest disposable expense and primarily what is killing their budget.

Most people on here wouldnt believe how much daycare costs on the coasts because they simply dont live there. $2,000/month in daycare for one kid is extremely believable.
