What top notch coach was going to come here?

Why do we need a top notch coach? How about just a competent one?

You know you can get glad in the same draws you got mad in.

When Nick showed up at LSU I don’t believe he was considered a top notch coach. When Miles showed up at LSU, I don’t believe he was considered a top notch coach either. They both seemed to do pretty well for LSU and for themselves.

What they both did have going for them was that they had both taken over down football programs and elevated them.

The amusing part of all of this and sad as well, is the idea that came out that if we couldn’t get two hot commodity coaches, we might as well with a guy who had failed miserably in his only other head coaching gig.
