re: Who here watched the 1986 World Cup?

THe first one I really remember watching was 2002 japan/s. Korea. I was in my early 20’s and can remember watching it super early in the am. I still didn’t really follow it though, but that’s the first time I remember thinking “hey, this is a pretty fun sport.”

I would say I really started following the game in the last ten years, with the last 3-4 becoming a real fan outside of just USMNT.

This recent qualifying campaign is the first one I’ve followed from match day 1. And I’m a mess. I’m honestly kind of surprised at how poorly I’m taking this. I can’t sleep I’m so mad. I just got back from a 10 mi rage run.
