They're in a no win situation and it's their own fault.
If they don't talk about it, their advertisers are going to be pissed.
If they do talk about it, the outrage industry is going to be pissed. I guess they decided to go with placating the people that pay their bills (which is a smart move). The SJW backlash is going to be funny, though.
