I don't remember that same knock on Garrett. I remember his production versus elite talent being questioned along with his run defense.

With Key, it's not even taking plays off. Right now, he isn't a good football player. Even when he isn't "taking plays off", he isn't causing disruption. He doesn't have the same burst. He's out of shape, slow. He's simply not a good SEC level defensive player right now, which is a much bigger issue than taking plays off.

ETA: I don't know if Guice is checked out. I think he's legitimately banged up.
