It's definitely possible. However, the only biology and genetics I know well are from plants, and I know next to nothing about the human genome other than what I'm able to skim from journals and scientists' personal blogs.

The 'American' genome is going to be harder to make any firm inferences about ethnic differences than any long-standing country, for obvious reasons. I am almost totally Scots-Irish/English, for instance, yet I'd be in the same group as Italo-Greeks, which were seperated genetically many thousands of years ago. That goes for just about anybody here.

is not the same as saying that it is a scientific fact that European DNA is superior in terms of intelligence and inferior in terms to athletic ability. Which is the premise of many posts in the thread...
