It was a one time deal. I asked my ticket rep about buying a Justin Hamilton jersey after he left a couple years ago and got an "I don't know" response.
Certainly related to the changeover. My guess is they either donated all of the remainder or negotiated a deal with some clearance house (TJ Maxx-type) to buy everything for 50 cents a piece to write it off. Or maybe they send it back to adidas.
Either way - one shot deal.
