looking back I wish we would have allowed him to finish out the season and then O never gets a look for this job. Who knew what seemed like such a great day, would end up so badly for us

USC wasn't won over from O's record from the interim role, so it seemed like the idea from some was that it didn't have to matter in this instance here unless he won out entirely.
