I went to the game last night and stayed until the end. I've been going to home games since the late 1980's. I left feeling sad about what has become of the LSU Football home game experience. Yes, it has been dropping for a while now but I couldn't believe how pitiful it was last night. It felt more like a glorified scrimmage or a spring game than a night game against a Power 5 opponent.

We can all sit here and gripe about how much the atmosphere has fallen off since games like 1998 Florida, 2000 Tennessee, or 2003 Georgia.

But if you were in charge, what 5 things would you do to fix it? Obviously college football attendance is down across the country as people decide to stay home & watch on their flat screen tv's.

But there are things LSU can do to improve the fan experience. It doesn't have to be this bad.

Parking, traffic, piped-in music, lack of highlights from other games across the country, the constant barrage of corporate sponsors, the nickel-and-diming the average fan...these are the most frequent comments I hear, and all of them are legit.

Maybe if someone came up with a few things the fans want and pushed for it, the next AD would listen after they fire Joe.
