Would've been way worse.
"NFL commissioner takes away Black players right to protest and forces them to stand".
Would've been an absolute fricking shitshow, WAY worse than what this is. The last thing the NFL needs is America thinking Goodell is a racist. THAT would've hurt their bottom line, PR nightmare 10x whatever this is.
What Trump did was give RG and the owners permission to back the protesters. This is the cost of his ego, and the fact that he only watches Fox News.
