It's not a huge deal, but it's definitely disrespectful.
I agree. I wouldn't lose sleep over it but let's call a spade a spade. It was meant as a sign of disrespect because it is disrespectful.

You let a man slide today, you must immediately get inside somebody's arse when that happens to you. You pull the a-hole open, step into the a-hole, close the door behind you.
