It was the act of speaking before even attempting to have a clue.

It wasn't like the information I meationed was hard to find, given that the crucial parts were in the link that the OP put. And yet there you were.....

But keep on crying though for being judged based on what you actually did, which is a hell of a lot more than you gave the mother there before putting your foot in your mouth.

So let me rephrase my original gripe:

You spent more time commenting on her choice than you did learning about it.

Everyone makes mistakes.

Real men own up to it rather than making excuses for them.

You know the second most hated trait I have for people, that seems to be correlated with the first? Lack of desire to self improve.
