Chavis appears washed up now, but he wasn't horrible. The 3rd and Chavis bit us in the arse a number of times, but we also shut down a lot of tough teams. Bama had elite athletes and an elite coach against guys like Johnny Football, but only LSU shut him down (twice). Chavis had some good game plans.

yeah, I get that from a previous poster's comment, I may have over stepped some on the horrible comment on Chavis, but his style of defense I definitely don't like. I just don't think it is effective and gives up a lot of yardage to opposing teams as you are seeing now at A&M. He got away with it at LSU because of the type of athletes that LSU has, but A&M is not LSU.
