You read into what I said wrong, but no big deal as a lot of people do that on here. I didn't say or mean that D is back mainly because of Aranda, I said dominant defense is back, suffocating, aggressive style of defense that I like to look at. Not the stuff Chavis employed, that's not my style of defense. Also, I said LSU's great athletes make coaches look much better than they really are and was the case with Chavis and Pelini, but you're right Aranda and Saban can be included. But their styles of defense (Saban and Aranda) are much more effective because they really get after it with LSU's talented studs and completely shut down offenses in most cases.
