I'm sure a lot people whose lineage in this country goes back that far have ancestors who stole land from the Native Americans. These people aren't even stealing shite.

So we make this decision based on our 200 year old ancestral life choices?

Some of them ARE STEALING shite in terms of federal funding, stealing the educational attention from American students who speak english, some even get in-state tuition to colleges even though they dont live in that state while legal immigrants DON'T, some are committing crimes which the democratic party has straight up protested against deporting gang members who are known murderers and rapists.

'm sure a LOT of them contribute more to this country than the bottom rung white and black trash that leech off the government and are able to do so just because they won the lottery and were born here.

Well, do you have any numbers on that? Otherwise you're just making this up? I have the law that says they are illegally here, you've got nothing.

The optics on this will be terrible because Congress won't get jack shite done about this. Trump can't them to accomplish anything.

Probably so, but who knows.

Only upside of this for Democrats will that it reinforce negative Republican stereotypes as being heartless and ineffective at getting legislation passed.

It has to happen at some point. Either we go 100% open borders and let anyone and everyone in or we take a stand. This half in half out bullshite isn't working obviously. Trump would look terrible now, but he would be looked at much better down the road as a president who had the balls to do what no one else before would. Bush wouldn't, Obama wouldn't, Clinton with all of his grand speeches on immigration reform wouldn't.

I take that as a badge of honor. This is wrong to punish these young adults (many who have prospered) because of the actions of their parents.

You act like you know whats in their best interest and everyone else's. You have nothing to gain by this, nor anything to lose, so you're not really risking anything are you?

I think the law matters in this country and if I want this nation to last, we have to subscribe to a set of laws that people actually respect. You want to throw that out of the door because it makes you feel bad. Who are you to tell others what is right or wrong? I bet you do things I think are immoral and wrong, and I may do things you think are immoral and wrong. Thats why we need fricking laws to draw the lines we can't with bullshite moral relativism.

You can find examples of everything if the group is large enough. I stand by my assertion that the vast majority of them contribute much more to this country than the bottom rung black and white trash who's sucked off taxpayers for decades and their prospects of becoming hard working valuable contributors (taxpayers and law abiding citizens ) dwarf the prospects of the leeches born in this country.
