It seems fairly obvious that LSU was a lesser rebuild job than Texas. With that said, I wouldn't really blame Herman for going to Austin. It was likely happening anyway, but the way Alleva acted during that whole situation with Herman's agent cemented that Herman would be at Texas for good.

Texas won a few games less but we lost a lot and had to play a ton of freshman. Lsu staff > than UT staff.

c'mon man, you have NO CLUE that your statement is true or not. it really is not fair to trash Alleva for something you perceive. i'm not an Alleva fan, but I think I am a fair person and you are not being fair. coaching searches are pretty damn secret and not by accident. the AD that hired nick saban was LUCKY not good and that's judging Saban by his resume up to the point we hired him.
