Not for want, us and 4 other bases have been on standby and within one hour recall status all week long. The story we've gotten is the governor of Texas hasn't requested our medical capabilities

I doubt they need anymore people down there helping right now, too many people can turn shite into a cluster.It would be wise for volunteers and relief agencies to coordinate future involvement based on need rather than everyone showing up together. Some of the folks are going to need to be rotated in and out, those conditions are horrible and about 2-3 weeks is all you can handle in one trip.
We have sent many field techs from the company I work for in KC down to the Houston area, the 1st thing they got when arriving was vaccinations.
