John Ehret did the same thing to their coach just a couple of weeks ago. It is a lot more common then you realize. You just don't see it in the news because it is high school sports.
The lawsuit is about the football building and health conditions related to it.

The Ehret thing was about transfers and shady stuff the coach was doing right? Also, are you saying the school board is punishing him for filing the law suit? How is that legal?
ETA: just to be clear, I don't know this coach or anything about the situation. He could be a great coach and a fantastic human being. It just seems odd to quit on your players like that.
