If one of Diallo/Jackson works out in the long run then Demps did a good job. Hopefully both players notice and appreciate the opportunity the Pelicans organization gave them and decide to stick around after their contracts are up.
I'm a firm believer that Diallo will be an Ibaka in this league in 3 more seasons. He really needs some solid minutes. As for Jackson had he not gone to Duke like LSU or something he would have gotten a lot more attention.

Yeah 1 for 2 on our last two second round picks is nothing to complain about. I'm actually optimistic both will end up being contributors sometime down the road. However, I'm not getting my hopes up

Both can end up being solid contributors, it'll just take time. They were both supposed to be 1st round picks, and both came out earlier than they should've. Jackson turned 19 in May, he is young as hell.
