did I say they didn't? The assertion here is that the Democrats are and always have been the party of class Warrior and class Envy and have always portrayed Republicans as the party of the mean old rich.

The entire Theory that the parties switched is complete and utter bullshite and the only support for it is if one focus is entirely on race. And even that is suspect as was pointed out by other posters.
