Yea it's always made me laugh somebody thinks some kid from Texas is going to go to Auburn (just an example) because they once played a game near a city he lives in.

FSU and Alabama will have dozens of Atlanta area recruits at the Chick Fil A Kick off game this year. It absolutely makes a difference in recruiting.
