Not to beat a dead horse but the line is my main concern as well. Etling is average at best. That's not the problem. I don't think anyone saw Nate Peterson as great QB either. So that's a draw in my opinion. Connor was a great veteran back and Guice is even better. What Canada had at Pitt that he doesn't have here is a strong veteran Oline. Not only will the affect pass protection but think about all those jet sweeps we've been gushing over. Those are meant to hold the LBs from attacking the ball but they won't work if a DT can shoot past an inexperienced young lineman and disrupt the play. Might not matter against BYU but it will definitely matter against those stud D lineman in the SEC.

Peterson threw 20 TDs the year before Canada arrived and had the second most carries on the team. He also lost Connor before the season started so he didn't have that beast to lean on. That was also his first year starting in college.

That is no way a draw IMO.
