You know you can remember men for dying for a fallen cause without putting up monuments, right? I'm not even pro-spending the resources to knock these things down but I think it's fair to point out that we have monuments up depicting men who led a failed rebellion against this country.
You somehow take that comment and twist it into some back-handed comment about me not protecting my family as if those two ideas are even related. It's truly some of the dumbest shite I've seen on here.

It was a rebellion but they were fighting for secession. Today, the left extremists are the ones rebelling against it with the intent to take control. The monuments are just a small fraction of their agenda.
