If Brennan replaces Etling then it's gonna be a loooong year in all likelyhood.
It would take a special talent for a true freshman to unseat the senior leader at QB.
I'm not down on Etling as a lot of others here are. I think he can lead this team to the playoffs.
But if Brennan is special, then let him have every 3rd or 4th series to prove himself. I think Etling should be the man with his leadership and toughness with Brennan waiting for his shot when needed. If Etling gets hurt during a game and Brennan brings the Tigers back for the win, then I will jump on board of being the QB over Etling.

What has shown you that? Etling did nothing vs top competition (defense) last year, yet with inexperienced WRs, a worse OL, and just being off back surgery, he's going to be better? He plays mediocre with mediocre talent. He's a backup at just about any other place in the SEC.
