Many states have the death penalty for murder. The ones that don't have life without parole. All states and the federal courts have criminal conspiracy statutes that carry decades-long sentences if convicted.

I don't want the government enacting vague and overbroad laws expanding criminal conduct when we have sufficient laws on the books to deal with issues concerning terrorism.
