Pentax K-70 and 18-135 lens is about as good as you can get for $900
I've got the Fujifilm XT-1 with the 18-55 kit lense which is the best kit lens in the business. I paid $1400, they're running around $1200 now
These are out of the camera, copies of copies but give you an idea of the color reproduction and how accurate it is. Just tweaked highlights and shadows a bit.
