It seemed like the kind of show that would help parents and kids talk to each other about serious issues and possibly prevent some suicides. As someone already mentioned about correlation =/= causation, perhaps those Google searches were made by parents who's eyes were opened to potential problems after the show rather than disillusioned teens ready to end it all. The fact that this is all based on google search data rather than suicide rate data is ridiculous.
Depressed people aren't in their right mind so maybe they can be triggered by music and movies. But the way to save them is not censoring movies and music that raise awareness about the issue.
